ANNOUNCEMENTS
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Each year we participate in collecting and packing shoeboxes for
Operation Christmas Child. A ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, these shoebox gifts go around the world to find their child. This tangible gift comes to them through volunteers who travel around the globe to deliver the Word of God to them and give them these gifts, maybe the only gift they have ever received. This year we are going to collect items and monetary donations to have a packing party on Nov. 12th. You may still pack your own box if you would like, but youth group and adult classes will be packing boxes together that night as well.
OCC Drop Off Location
This year you will have the opportunity to serve with Samaritan’s Purse right here at our church. We are a local drop off location this year and we will need volunteers daily during collection week. This lets you get hands on in one of the first stops on the journey of these shoebox gifts. See Holly to sign up & ask questions.

Greeter Ministry Team
Kyle & Hillary Conway will be heading up our greeter ministry and are looking for anyone who would like to serve on the greeter team. If you would like to do that please contact the office.

Prison Ministry
Our prison ministry meets once a month to minister to men at the correctional facility. They are looking for two more men to join them when available. Please see Mark Masterson or Frank Stevenson with questions.

Women's Bible Study Morning - October 25th 9AM-1PM
Join us for a Women's Study of Jeremiah. Cynda Reynolds will be teaching. Cynda was a long-term HBC member and precepts leader here and is a gifted bible teacher. You don't want to miss her!
Please bring your bible and your own lunch.

1689 - A study of the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith
Join Pastor Chalon as he leads us in a study of the London Baptist Confession of faith, a document outlining key Baptist doctrines and beliefs. We will meet the first Wednesday of each month in the sanctuary.
(TeamKID and Youth Group will meet as usual, adult classes will come together in the sanctuary on first Wednesdays)

Theology Class
John Walter will be starting Theology Class this Tuesday, October 28th at 6PM in the fellowship hall.
A hotdog supper will be served.

HBC is now offering a new way to listen to the music and speakers in the auditorium for those that may be a little
hard-of-hearing, or perhaps those that simply want to enhance their listening experience.
Using Auracast Bluetooth technology, attendees can now listen via compatible hearing aids and headphones.
Some headphones will be made available for use during the service on a first come first serve basis.
Compatible headphones are available at Amazon for approximately $35.00 HERE, along with additional information. You should be able to use any version that is Auracast compatible, it does not have to be the ones linked above.

Titus 2 Women
The goal of this ministry is to connect the women of the church who may not be involved in the same ministries/groups.
We want to grow together in Christ and build relationships in our church.
Sign-ups for new participants will be held each month.
Contact Morgan Lacheta if you would like to pause for a month or be taken off of the rotation.
